The Diamont Palace opened in 1905 in the Sint-Gillis district of Brussels. It was first a ‘Salle de Spectacle’ and the auditorium was located at first floor level. The foyer and stairs have the feel of entering a grand house, with marble, mirrors and chandeliers. Seating in the auditorium was provided in stalls and balcony levels. It was a palistered and mirrored auditorium, flanked by Moorish style arches along the walls.

Since the seventies it was used as storage location. The Aegidium was officially closed for public in 1985, the building was classified in 2006 and still waiting for restoration.

Doel is een dorp in de Belgische provincie Oost-Vlaanderen en een deelgemeente van Beveren. Doel ligt in het uiterste noordoosten van de provincie, op de linkeroever van de Schelde, in de Scheldepolders van het Waasland, vlak bij de Nederlandse grens. Doel raakte sinds de jaren zestig bekend door uitbreidingsplannen voor de haven van Antwerpen die het dorp zouden laten verdwijnen. Op 31 december 2007 telde Doel nog 359 inwoners en op 31 december 2010 nog slechts 188 inwoners.

Doel est un village situé dans l’extrême nord-est de la province belge de Flandre-Orientale, dans les marais du pays de Waas, sur la rive gauche de l’Escaut, large en cet endroit de quelque 1500 mètres par marée haute, en face de Lillo-Fort. Depuis quelques décennies, le village se retrouve régulièrement projeté au centre de l’actualité belge. Il semble bien établi à présent que Doel doive s’ajouter à la liste des villages poldériens (si l’on nous permet ce néologisme) sacrifiés à l’expansion du port d’Anvers. En effet, l’évacuation totale de la bourgade, après expropriation de ses habitants, a été décidée en 1999 par l’autorité régionale flamande, pour faire place à de nouvelles installations portuaires.

Doel is a subdivision of the municipality of Beveren in the province of Oost-Vlaanderen (Belgium). It is located near the river the Scheldt, in a polder of the Waasland. Doel is threatened with complete demolition due to the future enlargement of the harbour of Antwerp. This has seen many people having to sell their homes to the development corporation of that enlargement. Many historical buildings will be destroyed.

In medieval times Durbuy was an important centre of commerce and industry. In 1331 the town was elevated to the rank of city by John I, Count of Luxemburg, and King of Bohemia.

Esch-sur-Sûre (Luxembourgish: Esch-Sauer, German: Esch-Sauer) is a commune and small town in north-western Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Wiltz, which is part of the district of Diekirch. The commune is the second smallest in area in Luxembourg (after Remich).

As of 2005, the town of Esch-sur-Sûre, which lies in the north of the commune, has a population of 314.

Esch-sur-Sûre is situated by the river Sauer, just east and downstream of the artificial Upper Sûre Lake. The town's prominent castle, and the main part of the town below, sit on a spur of a land within a sharp meander of the river.

Cap Gris Nez is a cape on the Côte d'Opale in the Pas-de-Calais département in northern France. It is between Wissant (Whitesand - originally Witzand) and Audresselles (originally Auderzele), in the commune of Audinghen (Odingham).
The cliffs of the Cap are the closest point of France to England - 34 km (20 miles) from their English counterparts at Dover. Smothered in sea pinks and thrift, the cliffs are a perfect vantage point to see hundreds of ships from oil tankers to little fishing trawlers plying the waters below. On a clear day, the emblematic white cliffs of Dover on the English shore can be seen.
